Salon Iris - The Fine Art of Printing

Salon Iris specializes in optimizing the digital workflow - from image acquisition to color management and printing - and therefore produces prints of outstanding quality, capable to satisfy even the greatest artistic expectations.

Each work of art - be it paintings, drawings, prints, etchings or photographs - is digitized with high-resolution digital cameras or special scanners (Cruse large format scanner, Anagramm Camera). By means of sophisticated color management accurate color reproduction is ensured.

Salon Iris - Pigmentprints

The Prints are produced with inkjet technology and lightfast pigmented ink. This digital print process allows to print digitized images on classic artistic materials like canvas, fine art- and watercolor-papers. The different printing machines used by Salon Iris are capable to print formats up to 64" / 162,5 cm and at sheer unlimited lenghts.

The print substrates used by Salon Iris accord to the highest conservation standards. They are acid-free, without optical brighteners and humidity-resistant. Pigmentprints may be mono-prints („digital originals“) or „on-demand“ editions (reproductions) meaning that they be printed as needed and do not have to be produced and financed in advance in high numbers. Due to this quantitative issues digital printing helps to reduce risks and inventory costs for publishers and galleries alike.
